The 3rd study for flute in The Flutist’s Progress. I’m trying to play it as a fairly fast Waltz. All these studies have delightful melodies. The sound is captured on a Roland R09 digital recorder, and I added reverb to the whole file. My video camera is very lowtech, and the frame rate seems to be slower than the notes. They end together however! Obviously I’ll need to upgrade…

Kohler K241AS is alive after 12 years

I was cleaning out the basement and decided to get out the Kohler K241AS engine, it hadnt been run in over 12 years but ran surprisingly well after working on it for a while, it only took me a couple hours to fix and get started. the only problem it had after i started it was that the valves were out of adjustment and were tapping very loudly, i think this engine was built sometime in the 70s, if anyone knows more about when it was made feel free to say so. My dad took it off of a jacobsen tractor that was being thrown out, the body was in very bad condition, but the engine was in good condition. We got this engine 12 years ago, my dad started it once when he got it and then it sat in our basement for 12 years until now. It is 10hp.
-cleaned carb
-oiled and cleaned starter
-put on a new gas line
-put fresh oil in the engine
-fixed the ignition

the handle on this toilet was sluggish and it had to be pressed down hard, i didnt like it at all, otherwise nice toilet and nice flush.

1965 kohler 10k starts then drops rpm then kicks into start mode?

seems to going into a protection mode?
I tried loading it no change. the contact switches are shuting down the injector pump. have checked the oil sensors they seem ok.
Some of the old 1 have a no load shut down have U tried putting a load on it?? Or do U mean it shut off??
