Where can i rent a cheap portable generator for a small party?
Posted by admin
My company is having a small picnic and the park we will be having it in does not provide electricity. We want to have some music and thought we’d rent a generator, however every where i see they are all huge! therefore, super expensive. And honestly way more than what we need. Any ideas?
Home Depot or Lowes. You do realize that the generator is noisy and you need to fill it with fuel. What is wrong with Battery driven
Priority is to check if park regulations allow that. In my area that is forbidden

How much music are you thinking? Maybe a battery-powered ghetto blaster or a car stereo—still in the car with windows and/or doors open—would do the trick?
A local rental shop offers a 1.6 kW generator for $50 per day. http://www.barburrentals.com/equipment/building.htm
Perhaps there’s something similar in your area?

If your only going to power a Boom Box, get a 400watt inverter from an auto parts store, @$40.00 and a long extension cord, from car to ?
