Eureka, South Dakota state of emergency

Power has been restored to the city of Eureka, officials say.
The McPherson County town had been without power since Thursday or Friday, Mayor Mark Opp said. As a result, he said, city officials declared a state of emergency earlier this morning.
Opp said the town’s water supply is frozen and that the WEB Water is in danger of freezing, but a generator is being brought in to help prevent that.
Crews helping to repair power lines downed during last week’s ice storm did not make much progress Monday because of blizzard conditions. Tuesday, though, they have fared better in calmer weather.

This is my 45 watt solar panel setup. I purchased this kit from Harbor freight for about $200. I use it for lighting in my home, as well different power tools around the house. This is a great source of power in the event of power failures (which happens often).
